Situation
After launching a new Web site in July, 2007, Applied Engineering wasn't attracting the amount of traffic it expected. In September, 2007, Craig Rentmeester, founder of Relevante Marketing evaluated the Web site content, structure and external factors leading to low search engine rankings.

Project Summary
After conducting keyword and competitive research, Craig put together a search engine optimization plan that included on-page and off-page SEO changes to increase Web site traffic related to the products that Applied Engineering sells and supports.
First, Google Analytics was installed throuhout the site to be to measure traffic, site usage and collect visitor information. Then, in December, 2007, the first round of SEO changes were published after extensive re-work to the Web site. As demonstrated by the graph below, the first round of the project was very successful. After the initial on-site changes were implemented, Craig began re-working other sections of the site's content.
On-going link building efforts have lead to continually increased rankings for highly competitive industry terms.
