Wordpress Advanced

Course Description: This course seeks to provide an in-depth understanding of Wordpress, Wordpress functionality and Wordpress plug-ins.

This course is intended for bloggers, authors and web design beginners.

Basic HTML knowledge is preferred. Basic CSS and PHP knowledge is needed to edit theme files.

Topics include:

• What is Wordpress and How is it Structured
• Installing Wordpress on a Domain, Sub-Domain or Subdirectory
• Creating Users and Defining User Roles
• Customizing Wordpress Options
• Site Title, tagline, time zone, file structure, comment moderation, etc.

• Adding and Removing Sidebar Content
• How to Install and Customize Themes
